Position: Sawmill Supervisor – Wood Products Lumber Products Sawmill
Locations: Joyce, LA., (1st Shift) and Newberry, South Carolina (3rd Shift)
Salary: Aggressive Base Salary 15% Bonus Benefits

Position Description
The Sawmill Supervisor will provide hourly personnel leadership, training, and development by managing the process flow, resources, and workforce to meet and exceed established budgets and performance objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will provide leadership, training, and development to hourly personnel
- You will maintain high safety performance standards
- You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the sawmill
- You will establish and maintain quality and production standards for the sawmill
- You will optimize functional areas including production, scheduling, and asset utilization
Qualifications you will need:
- Quality-control experience
- Excellent team-building and motivational skills
- Understanding of accounting and financial metrics for a sawmill operation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience that will make you stand out:
- Must-Have 5 to 10 years of experience in the lumber or wood products business
- Must-Have 3 to 5 years leading a team and manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Must-Have Team-building and motivational skills to Lead a Team.
- Must-Have Quality-control experience
- Understanding of accounting and financial metrics for a sawmill operation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Minimum education of High school diploma
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
