Our client isseeking a dedicated Audio Visual Onsite Tech Support to join theirCustomer Services team in Ottawa Canada. The ideal candidate willensure unsurpassed quality control and continuity of AV systemsvideoconference solutions and services.
This role involves managingall aspects of AV and video conferencing hardware softwaremaintenance and support requirements ensuring customer meetingrooms and conference facilities are alwaysoperational.
Responsibilities :
- Manageall forms of audiovisual and video conferencing hardware softwaremaintenance and supportrequirements.
- Maintain and repairequipment as needed to keep customer meeting rooms and conferencefacilities up and running.
- Analyzeequipment usage reproduce clientreported issues and perform testingof manufacturer interoperability and / or hardware andsoftware.
- Conduct predeploymenttesting of new software builds andreleases.
- Diagnose videocommunications incidents quickly andefficiently.
- Initiate develop andmanage a range of complex AV / ITproject
- Fulfill correctivemaintenance works in accordance with Technical Specifications forSite Corrective Maintenance and Service Level Agreements(SLA).
- Create and updatedocumentation for the AVsystems.
- Suggest and implementimmediate improvements in overall AV systems video meetings andcollaborationquality.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelorsdegree level minimum
- Fluent inspoken and written English
- NativeEnglish language skills
- Confident inMS Office.
- Good understanding ofWindows operating systems.
- Goodunderstanding of basic network terminology andtechnology
- Good understanding ofvideo conferencing and audiosolutions
- Selfmotivated andcomfortable working autonomously as part of a dispersedteam.
- Quick and continuouslearner.
- Ability to work and thinkwell under pressure.
- Positive candoapproach andattitude.
- Customerorientedmindset.
- Desirable : MTRs Ciscoand / or PolyCertification(s).
Job Requirements : Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience withQCS controls, Biamp, Audio DSP, Shure and Intelix. Great to have : AVPro Edge and Visionary Solutions for VoIP / switchers Advancedknowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment Advancedknowledge of TCP / IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls arepreferred.
Advanced working knowledge of computers (Windows-based)and software. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, andembrace a team-centric environment.
Ability to read, analyze, andinterpret complex documents including product specifications,wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings.
Ability to respondeffectively to sensitive customer inquiries or complaints. Stronginterpersonal and communication skills are required.
Valid driver slicense with minimum 3-year clean driving record. Infocomm CTScertification (within 6 months of employment start) & CTS-Iwithin 12 months Maintain and / or acquire OSHA 10 Hr constructionwithin 3 months from employment start.
