What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at HireWorks, LLC?
HireWorks has partnered with a company located in Grapevine, TX to find a bookkeeper to help their accounting department. The ideal candidate will have clerical experience as well as the aptitude to help with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Answering or transferring phone calls and taking messages for select staff members
- Maintaining the office calendar
- Writing memos, correspondence, invoices, receipts, spreadsheets and other reports as needed
- Keeping the office database and filing system up to date and organized
- Purchasing office supplies and work with vendors
- Working with office equipment vendors to purchase and maintain office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Sorting and delivering all mail and faxes
- Open all AP mail and distribute to the team
- Scan, verify and process invoices received from vendors for payment
- Other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- HS Diploma/ Equivalent required
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience
- 1 years of Quickbooks Experience
- Experience with Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with various forms of office software and equipment
- Able to write reports and presentations
- Ability to work with staff across multiple departments
- Ability to work with budgets and create spreadsheets
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
