Key Responsibilities
- Research innovative learning & development strategies for a diverse audience of workplace professionals.
- Contribute to the successful design and drive execution of the HACR DE&I member learning & development strategy.
- Deliver educational culturally nuanced training based on DE&I topics numerous times a month; Develop and deliver in-house content using a blend of delivery methods including live virtual, face to face and online content.
- Ensure high-quality performance of existing programs and initiatives; Monitor the consistency and continuity among programs.
- Leverage past experiences and program successes and challenges, corporate and non-profit industry best practices and strengths offered by existing partnerships to guide the development of future initiatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive work plan for future engagement strategies with member organizations.
- Collect and analyze program data to provide insights and ensure effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strategic and effective relationships with L&D stakeholders/leaders within HACR’S membership companies.
- Develop learning and development programs using inclusive learning practices and ensure they support our DE&I strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required when demonstrated experience and expertise is available.
- Four (4) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of DE&I, Learning & Development or Talent Development.
- Proven leadership/management experience.
- Strong personal and/or professional interest.
- Experience in developing, delivering, and managing Inclusion & Diversity initiatives in a multinational organization
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple learning programs concurrently is vital.
- The ability to quickly get up to speed on latest content areas and adjust your facilitation style to accommodate different individuals is critical.
- Experience facilitating large groups (150 ) in-person and virtual.
- Experience with digital fluency; Zoom, Teams, Webex, Outlook, Canva
- Training and facilitation certification a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of adult-learning strategies and inclusive training techniques in both in-person and virtual training environments.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Experience in member relations, leadership development, or another related field.
- Confident and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of individuals from all sectors of the community including C-suite level executives at Fortune 500 companies.
- Be responsive and aware of the impact of the Hispanic Community on the marketplace and in Corporate America.
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Team player and effective collaborator with staff and consultants
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Salesforce proficiency is preferred.
- Ability to travel inside the U.S. at least 6-10 times per year is required.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibility for other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Occasionally attend evening work related events
