JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Data Processor
Location: Hazelwood, Missouri
Department: Operations
JOB PURPOSE: Performs a variety of clerical duties, answers questions or inquiries from lockbox customers, resolves problems or issues and performs data entry. Receives information from external sources.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
1. Maintains confidentiality and upholds the rules of conduct as outlined in the employee manual.
2. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing assigned tasks as directed.
3. Contributes to the overall success of the remote processing workflow
4. Meets company production standards assigned.
5. Maintains HIPAA Compliance.
6. Works remotely supporting lock box customers.
7. Answers customer phone calls and responds with appropriate steps to completes the customers’ needs.
8. Reports any customer issue to remote processing supervisor.
9. Completes on the job training requirements successfully.
10. Adheres to safety and sanitation standards.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
1. Attainment of quantitative and qualitative goals.
2. Exhibits confidence in self in completing tasks.
3. Demonstrates knowledge, treats people with respect, and accepts responsibility for own actions.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Customer friendly phone etiquette required; PC experience required.
- EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- SKILLS/ABILITIES: Has good understanding of confidentiality rules. Accurately enters data into computer systems. Word processing, Excel, Access, or equivalent application experience. Able to work independently.
REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
- FINGER DEXTERITY: Needs accurate and quick keyboarding skills.
- TALKING: Requires strong vocabulary and communication skills.
- AVERAGE HEARING: Must be able to communicate well with others.
- AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITY: Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time and distinguish details of documents both in paper and digital format.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
