The Administrative Assistant is charged with a responsibility that may affect the success of an organization – making a good first impression. It is expected that the Administrative Assistant maintains a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor while answering telephone calls and greeting clients and visitors. This position requires extensive contact with employees and clients at all levels. Performs routine office duties as outlined below and as instructed and assigned by the Office Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Construction knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Accountability
- Supervision: Works with minimal supervision
- Supervisor: Office Manager
Hours
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
