HIT (Home Infusion Therapy) Specialists is seeking an Infusion Nurse to support our Albuquerque, NM area. Join us in Simplifying Complex Care!
The Infusion Nurse provides primary patient care for specifically assigned patients to include assessments, care planning, evaluation and education of patients receiving infusion therapy and/or other nursing services in accordance with the best practices from an infusion center or home-based setting.

Responsibilities include:

- Review hospital / clinic notes for potential patient issues.
- Verify key members of care team prior to accepting patient.
- Complete start-of-care, care plans and charting in accordance with state regulatory agencies.
- Ability to run and monitor multiple infusions simultaneously.
- Provide direct care for assigned patients including initiation and maintenance of all communications with appropriate care team members.
- Appropriately administer treatment for patients and complete/ upload infusion records into internal systems
- Teach patients to self-infuse HIT-supplied therapy, at home or at bedside, in accordance with best practices
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent IV skills
- Nursing degree from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN Preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of nursing experience in hospital, home health, or ambulatory care setting
- Current nursing license for applicable state
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $38.00-42.00 per hour
- Actual compensation will vary based on work experience, education and/or skill level.
