The Program Management team is looking for a Project Management Intern to help with managing projects and improving processes. Under the supervision of an experienced project manager, the intern will provide administrative support to active projects as needed (following up with team members, updates to project plan, tasks and status). Also, the intern will participate in the lean transformation of New Product Development processes with the Program Management team by analyzing current documentation and updating or creating missing items.
What you will do in the position:
- Participate actively in meetings, taking minutes, answering questions, and offering ideas.
- Follow up with team members, updates to project plan, tasks and status.
- Participate in the lean transformation of New Product Development processes with the Program Management team
- Analyze current documentation and updating or creating missing items.
- Provide administrative support to active projects as needed
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- Proficiency in written English for business
- Good listening and analytical skills
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Knowledge of MS Project or similar– preferred
- Preferred background/field of study: Business Administration, Project Management, Logistics, Engineering or Computer Sciences
- Good organization and time management skills
- Familiar with task management apps, outlook reminders, etc..
