Summary
The Division of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is recruiting a neurosurgeon specializing in Functional Neurosurgery with a focus in epilepsy and chronic pain. The ideal candidate for this position will be board eligible or certified with a demonstrated ability to develop a strong academic functional neurosurgical program. Preference will be given to those with a broad range of capabilities including epilepsy and peripheral nerve surgery, complex pain management, spinal cord stimulator implantation and management, and minimally invasive surgery. Exceptional teamwork, program development, teaching and mentorship abilities are essential. Individuals with a demonstrated ability to develop independent research programs will be strongly considered. Appointment as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.
