What are the responsibilities and job description for the GIS Analyst / HPM position at Hoar?
Responsibilities:
- Manage and analyze data to create reports and presentations that support multiple planning activities that may include: facility master planning, boundary/zoning analysis, population/census analysis, site selection, student potential/build-out analysis.
- Responsible for managing GIS tech support or outside GIS vendor support.
- Bachelor’s degree Geography [GIS Specialty] or Bachelor’s Degree GIS Certification preferred
- 5-10 Years’ GIS Experience
- Experience in K-12 education, Higher Ed, Manufacturing/Distribution, Transportation/Logistics, Entertainment/Hospitality, or related industries
- Experience in management of GIS team
- Proficient in ESRI and Microsoft products
- Clear communication skills in all formats (written, spoken, social media, public presentations, etc.) on behalf of HPM
