Hobbs Municipal Schools is Seeking Passionate Educators!!!!
Hobbs, New Mexico is a town of 45,000 residents in southeastern New Mexico, located 5 miles from the Texas border. The community is growing and is in the heart of the American oil and gas industry. The Hobbs Municipal School District educates 10,600 students. The district includes 13 elementary schools (grades PK-5), 3 middle schools (grades 6-8), one Freshman campus, and Hobbs High School (grades 10-12). Hobbs Schools provides $5,000 sign-on stipends for Math, Science, Special Education, and Bilingual. Elementary, Secondary English and Social Studies receive a moving stipend of $4,000. For other subject areas, Hobbs will pay up to $3,500 for moving expenses based on mileage. Additionally, the district promotes our teachers pursuing advanced degrees and will pay for your Master's degree. Lastly, the State of New Mexico will reciprocate all out-of-state licenses.
