This candidate will need to be able to work well independently and have strong time management skills.
This is a 1st shift position 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, overtime/weekends as needed.

Summary: This individual is responsible for performing various custodial work in offices, warehouse and building exterior and perform simple facility maintenance duties and responsibilities.
Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, clean and dust office furniture, sweep and mop office floors, empty/clean trash containers, and refill paper dispensers
- Prepare floors for crew to strip, which includes cleaning, buffing and applying floor sealer as needed
- Use and maintain assigned power equipment, hand tools and buffers
- Wash walls, accessible interior and exterior windows, blinds and equipment as needed
- Perform outdoor maintenance such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks and stairs in areas using hand-operated tools or small power equipment
- Assist with inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Operate all vehicles and other job-related equipment in a safe & efficient manner
- Replace light bulbs as needed
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools as needed
- Attend safety and other related meetings
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Work toward continuous improvement
- Stay current with changing technology
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
Reporting to this position: No direct reports
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Janitor must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.
Education/Experience:
Preferred:
- High School Diploma, GED or continuing education
- Previous janitorial and/or maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
