A Hybrid working model
Once offices are fully open we will be moving to a hybrid working model, which will allow our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The Product Information Specialist acts as a verifier of relevant vehicle facts, product accuracy, and general product compliance for all GTB communications for their assigned vehicles. This role reviews and provides direction on all images, claims, functionality, and messaging in each communication. The Senior Product Information Specialist also ensures that critical product information is proactively provided in advance for these communications, including digital, brand, paid and earned media opportunities.
They review all agency communications for assigned vehicles, emphasis is put on applied product information skills for content creation within the digital space – including model year PDM updates, MYCO site updates, Color and Trim projects, the maintenance of associated product grids and specifications, and securing samples and reference to provide visual direction to teams on any corrections or updates needed.
Major Responsibilities
- Investigate, retain, and apply robust vehicle knowledge for client and agency use. Ensure all communications associated with assigned vehicles are reviewed and commented upon accurately and within deadlines. Mentor other team members appropriately
- Provide updates of carryover vehicles – including What's New documents, claim updates and re-substantiation, PDM or other asset updates, Color and Trim changes and updates, and other related tasks associated with carryover vehicles.
- Active preparation and participation in product-related client deliverables, including Owner Site, Color and Trim, and sample and reference materials needed for CG updates and validation.
- Provide critical feedback to Product Information Supervisor for departmental improvements and progress.
- Ensure accurate depictions of cross-brand technologies like Ford Pass, SYNC, and other technologies/connected services are compliant within your vehicles.
- Attend client routable and associated meetings as needed.
- Attend shoots or other production activities as needed to ensure accuracy in all product depictions.
- Develop knowledge of departmental best practices, including updating claims and affidavits, client interaction, product reviews, and insight regarding the entire automotive industry
