Overview
About the role: A contact point for focus groups or pilot programs for employer initiatives.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Identify problems in communications between management and employees.
- Assist drivers at the facility with any questions or concerns they may have.
- Be a problem solver.
- Act as point person on driver and employee issues. Answer employee questions, direct them to a person who can help, or get the answer for them as soon as possible.
- Have a broad and deep understanding of company processes, policies, and procedures. Actively find ways to improve processes.
- Show patience and empathy when handling difficult conversations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with front-line employees.
- Regularly present to employees that attend new hire orientation what to expect from the Employee Liaison.
- Regularly meet with department managers on any updates and changes to driver policies and processes.
- Teach and communicate company policies and procedures thoroughly and accurately in daily driver interactions.
- Proactively offer assistance to drivers present at the facility. Follow up to ensure needs are met. Track the outcomes of the driver interactions. Report on quantity and quality of interactions regularly.
- Conduct exit interviews with drivers when necessary.
- Track field contacts and provide regular reports regarding issues and recommendations.
Qualifications
We're looking for:
Required Education: High School diploma/GED
Required Work Experience:
- Ability to employ collaboration to promote the actualization of ideas.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Former Liaison experience within a pertinent industry preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to service excellence.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the capacity to maintain productive and positive working relationships with employees and members of management.
- Maintains professionalism and tact under pressure.
- Must be able to build relationships quickly; strong communication skills verbal, written, and interpersonal required.
- Problem-solver and creative thinker required.
- Ability to create regular reports with analyses and recommendations for problem resolution.
Computer and Software Skills: Intermediate computer skills in, word processing and spreadsheets. PC, Printer, Fax Machine, Copier.
