What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman position at Holden Conner?
A Handyman will conduct basic maintenance at various Holden Conner properties. The main duties include repairing plumbing systems, fixing company equipment or tools and testing various company or home appliances to ensure they work properly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical repairs
- Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary
- Complete general building cleaning and maintenance
- Install and replace floors, stairs and piping as needed
- Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the buildings
- Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facilities
- Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
- Strong communication skills with property management and tenants
- Self-starter with good time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
