Help Desk Technician
Monitors and maintains company computer systems and networks. Manages and resolves help desk tickets and provides general IT support across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets submitted by Store and Office Personnel
- Document, track and monitor tickets to ensure a timely resolution
- Create and update documents and procedures in the knowledge base
- Setup and install new computers with necessary hardware and software
- Install computer peripherals for users
- Train users on basic computer hardware/software and other office equipment to increase their productivity
- Provide regular reports to management regarding unresolved issues
- Troubleshoot networking connectivity issues at corporate office and store locations
- Assist with installation, configuration and maintenance of security cameras
- Travel to store locations to accomplish job responsibilities as needed
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting skills, both with hardware and software
- Willingness to work on-call hours as needed (Weekend on call, rotating schedule)
- Network Management experience and/or education
- Competent in MS Office Suite
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, including written, verbal and telephone skills
- General familiarity with Windows active directory, DNS, DHCP, and Print Servers
- Ability and means to travel to store locations in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis and Tooele Counties
- Associates degree in related field or 2 years relevant work experience preferred
Hiring Range: $19 - $21 DOE
