Position Summary:
Are you an experienced VP looking for a great opportunity to join a growing company? Then you're in luck! We are looking to hire the right fit for our team, with the VP of Operations being a part of the executive team, provide leadership, direction, and administration of operations and associated departments. The VP of Operations will also develop and maintain relationships with providers, facilities, vendors, and employees.
Essential Functions:
· Lead and oversee HIM, Nursing, Client Support, Outcomes, Regional Operations and associated teams
· Contribute to the strategic planning sessions as a key member of the HPM executive team
· Provide leadership and input for operational areas
· Contribute to development of new contracts – employees, facilities, providers, and healthcare systems
· Establish performance goals and allocate resources necessary for employees to achieve goals
· Improve utilization through cross-functional process improvement, monitoring performance, and solving problems
· Mature current services and operationalize new services to maximize utilization
· Establish and strengthen relationships with primary care, orthopedic, physical therapy, and chiropractic services
· Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information including company, personnel, proprietary, and patient information
· Participate in budgeting process and hold managed departments accountable to operate within approved budgets
· Performs other appropriate duties as requested
Position Requirements
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
· Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred
Qualifications
· 5 years’ experience in hospital administration or related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Excellent computer skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information, concepts, instructions, and ideas in oral and written formats to a variety of audiences with diverse backgrounds, agendas and levels of knowledge and expertise
· Strong teamwork abilities and the ability to foster teamwork
· Time management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
· Thorough understanding of Critical Access Hospital processes, expectations, and staff roles/requirements
· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, providers, patients, and others within a professional and courteous manner
· Punctual and attentive to client and patient needs
