Supply Chain Inventory Planning and Management Analyst

We’re looking for an amazing supply chain professional to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for executing planning strategies, plans and processes within the F&B and Hotel categories for Holland America Group. Tasks and responsibilities include executing replenishment orders for warehoused goods, running demand forecasts, and supporting the S&OP processes. Additionally, the position will play a role supporting process improvement initiatives from end to end.

Responsibilities

• Execute demand planning models and procedures for new and existing products within assigned portfolio to meet organizational goals and objectives. Perform warehouse PO and replenishment order processes end-to-end timely, accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assist identifying opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply scenarios. Identify areas of model and system improvement and develop recommendations to management.
• Assist in implementing new systems/models/policies/procedures.
• Develop demand forecasts based on historical consumption patterns, market trends and future business requirements. Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customers reactions to promotions and discounts. Maintain and optimize forecast models and systems to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Assist in developing and launching S&OP processes. Contribute in S&OP processes by creating reports & analysis and participating in S&OP meetings.
• Assist in risk mitigation and assessment activities. Help train new hires within the Planning function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing
• CPIM (ASCM), CSCP (ASCM), DDP (DDI), DDL (DDI), Lean, Six Sigma certifications preferred
• 2 years of professional experience within a relevant field (demand planning or inventory management).
• 3-4 years of professional demand planning experience within the hospitality industry preferred
• Experience with and understanding of MRP.
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with, and understanding of DDMRP preferred
• Expert level Excel skills preferred
• Basic SQL skills preferred
• Experience using Tableau and/or Power BI preferred
• Basic knowledge and some experience with S&OP
• Demonstrated strong initiative & accountability
• Experience leading or playing key part in S&OP process preferred
• Presenting to various management/leadership levels preferred
