Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with expertise in Syteline and a strong background in Manufacturing and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) machine programming. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in optimizing our manufacturing operations, leveraging their technical proficiency to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the Syteline ERP system to ensure seamless integration with manufacturing processes. This includes configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance to meet the organization's evolving needs.
- Utilize Solidworks software to design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings and models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain CAM programs for CNC machines, ensuring precise and efficient machining processes. Utilize CAM software to generate tool paths, optimize tool selection, and minimize cycle times.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for manufacturing systems, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials for manufacturing processes and systems. Conduct training sessions to ensure team members are proficient in effectively utilizing technology.
- Proactively identify areas for continuous improvement and lead initiatives to implement best practices and innovative technologies. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive ongoing optimization efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Syteline ERP system, with configuration, customization, and maintenance expertise.
- Strong background in Manufacturing Engineering, with proficiency in Solidworks design software.
- Experience in CAM programming, with hands-on experience developing CNC machine programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing operations.
