What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Hollstadt Consulting?
Job description: Need an individual well versed in reading/writing SQL and has a high level understanding on how to read code so that they can support/test/validate changes that the team will be making. In addition, this person will be tasked to create new data models and user reports (using Power BI) that we will be using across the enterprise. This person will be gathering application and data requirements by engaging with all levels of individuals within the Supply Chain so good communication and listening skills are required. We are an Agile group, so having pre-knowledge of how agile teams work is recommended.
Skills requirements:
- SQL reading/writing (Microsoft and Oracle)
- Reading of application code bases: VB. Net, .Net, Vue JS (VJS), blazer/C#
- Power BI model creation and report writing
- Application end to end testing
- ETL knowledge (Informatica) and basic data mapping documentation
- Agile methodology understanding
- Requirement/test script documentation writing
- Supply chain/manufacturing experience
