Casino Operations Shift Manager

Your daily responsibilities include

- Conducts the Poker tournaments.

- Meets and develops relationships with players.

- Enforces the procedures of each game.

- Ensures that every game is counted correctly at opening and closing.

- Monitors the games for fills and credits.

- Verifies that all gaming equipment is placed in its designated area at the end of the gaming day.

- Notifies the Casino Shift Manager of any needed repair/replacement of gaming equipment.

- Promotes and leads in our Red Carpet Service initiatives to external and internal Guests that perpetuate Hollywood Casino’s commitment towards quality Guest service.

- Follows all safety rules.

- Adheres to departmental quality standards.

- Maintains compliance with the Illinois Gaming Board Rules, Standards, the company's System of internal Controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

- Works within the guidelines established by Penn National Gaming and Hollywood Casino Aurora.

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Live poker dealing experience preferred; previous supervision of live poker may be considered with assessment of Cast Member’s game knowledge and overall experience.

- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.

- Ability to understand and perform duties in accordance with:

- Hollywood Casino Aurora Core Values

- Departmental, property, and company policies and standards

- Illinois Gaming Board requirements

- Sarbanes-Oxley

- Internal Controls

- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and apply to practical situations using fractions, percentages, measurements, proportions, and problem solving.

- Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol service certification.

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

- Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.
