- Serve as the “Technology Leader” for property systems including but not limited to VM, AS400, Windows Server, etc.
- Manage IT helpdesk workflow to guarantee that critical support activities are accomplished promptly and successfully.
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert for all network-related projects, incidents, upgrades, and implementations.
- Provide technical knowledge in support of LAN/WAN technologies (wired and wireless), firewalls, routers, switches, cloud and network infrastructure, remote access solutions, VPN, VoIP, and monitoring tools.
- Responsible for effective configuration, provisioning, operation, maintenance, and support of all client systems and related infrastructure.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and other SaaS Applications.
- Monitor health of ACSC and the AS/400 to proactively mitigate system performance issues and improve overall system stability.
- Maintain ACSC user and AS400 profile account provisioning and establish IT procedures that align with regulatory and internal controls.
- Manage system change and problem management to optimize system availability.
- Analyze break fix incident data, identify high problem areas, perform root causes analysis, develop and assign action plans, and trend monthly system incident performance.
- Manage the daily AS400 MIMIX replication process to ensure the backup system is ready in the event of a failure on the production system.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the property's information and technology functions
- Participate in the development of the corporation's strategic logics to include plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of the impact on information and technology
- Translate the strategic logics and tactical business plans into operational plans and systems structures
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning of new strategies and regulatory action as those items impact the technical operating platforms of the property
- Develop design and implementation strategies to ensure property is kept abreast of technology trends within the industry
- Develop integration strategies to ensure optimal efficiency of computer systems and programs with existing end users
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuance in case of systems failures
- Insure adequate processing and storage capacity for growing business demands based on customer volumes
- Continually reassess the competitiveness of all information assets against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets
- Establish credibility throughout the property with management and the team members in order to be an effective listener and problem solver of information issues
- Develop appropriate policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of all deployed information systems
- Coordinate the interdepartmental efforts relative to information systems throughout the property
- Provide technical advice and knowledge to executive team
- Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Information and Technology Department
- Regularly reassess systems mix, policies, procedures and personnel to ensure compliance with strategic logics and operational objectives
- Evaluate of the information and technology department structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) for individuals
- Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university
- Business management, systems management, project management, contract negotiation and administration, operating and capital budgeting skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
- Ability to manage team members working in a high-pressure environment towards successful results for the property and company
- Strong administrative, P/L management, technical, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in order to communicate to all levels within the company and vendors
- Proven expertise in handling user problems and vendor relationships
- Able to prioritize, direct and monitor multiple tasks and assignments
- Technical knowledge of the PC environment including hardware, operating system and networking
- Ability to analyze problems and apply logical/cost effective solutions
- Evaluate, recommend and implement proven technologies that apply to business strategies and system needs
- Strategic planning and tactical deployment of objectives that provide effective and efficient operations and support for the property
- Three to five years of demonstrated experience in the application of a wide range of systems
- Minimum three years of project leadership or general management experience; and one year of Penn National Gaming Information Technology management experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of current information technology products
- Ability to motivate and develop bench strength
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
