Product Master Data Management Analyst Marlborough, MA or San Diego, CA

The Product Master Data Management Analyst has broad oversight across the entire Service Product Master Data value stream and is responsible for ensuring Service Part data quality and integrity in all systems of record.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for defining, maintaining, auditing, and correcting PLM, ERP, and CRM product data related to Service.
• Responsible for the Service portion of Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) including creation, review, approval, and implementation in PLM, ERP, and/or CRM systems.
• Responsible for defining Service part configuration in CRM system.
• Responsible for entering and managing Service Operations-related data in ERP system.
• Audit, evaluate, and implement policies and procedures related to responsibilities of proper Service product/part configuration throughout the entire organization.
• Gatekeeper for all Service ECO orders to ensure data integrity and completeness of mandatory fields before release of IMCN.
• Proactively analyzes business processes, identifies issues, and promotes continuous process improvement.
• Coordinates data collection and entry between all stakeholders such as Engineering, Service Supply Chain, Quality, Trade Compliance and Finance while keeping all business partners informed.
• Responsible for data base creation, integrity and maintenance of BOM’s including Service, Sales, Manufacturing and Repair.
• Performs audit functions, identifying gaps and coordination of all missing data in item master, manufacturing and repair routings and BOM’s with responsible owners
• Evaluates and processes change order inputs into the MRP/ERP and CRM system.
• Maintains and tracks the product data integrity of PLM, ERP, and CRM systems.
• Establishes procedures between internal customers related to ERP system use.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing processes/systems and participate in projects to advance best practices and tools.
• Educates and trains appropriate personnel such as, but not limited to, Planning, Production, QC, Service, and Technical Support personnel in new processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the Service side of biotech manufacturing, purchasing, planning, product development, and material handling.
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Oracle ERP, and Agile PLM or equivalent systems.
• Experience with Product Master Data Management (PMDM) principles, methodologies, and processes.
• Experience w/ Project Management fundamentals and processes.
• Knowledge of reporting & analytics tools and methods related to Data Management.
• Proficient with MS Office tools including Excel, Visio, Power Point, and Word.
• Skilled in analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving techniques.

Education/Experience:

• Typically requires BA or BS degree and 5-8 years related experience preferably in medical device manufacturing and/or biological science, or equivalent.
• Comprehension of standard medical device manufacturing, purchasing, planning, product development, and material handling procedures is essential.
• Has basic knowledge of Biomedical Regulatory requirements related to master data.
• Working knowledge of Lean methodologies.
• Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) experience preferred.
• One full cycle of an MDM implementation preferred.
