A CDL Laborer at HBI will perform the essential work of installing and maintaining the telecommunication lines that keep our communities connected! Class A CDL employees are trained on the job to perform the following duties:
- Transport, load and unload equipment following all DOT regulations
- Dig holes
- Locating existing utilities
- Preparing cable routes
- Feeding cable
- Secure the job site, place signs where directed, and complete various other tasks as assigned by the Operator and Foreman
- Perform daily equipment maintenance (greasing equipment, checking oil, hydraulic fluid, and fueling).
- Clean vehicles and equipment
No Experience Necessary! As a CDL Laborer there will be on-the-job training to learn how to operate equipment, read prints, and understand all phases of utility construction.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold an insurance-acceptable driver’s license.
- Class A CDL with manual transmission experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
