Position: Finance and Data Generalist
Location: Charleston, WV
Payrate: $30k/year
Availability to work from home part-time.
Responsibilities may include:
- Accounts payable data entry and analysis
- Vendor issue resolution
- Reconciliation of petty cash accounts
- Invoice processing
- Conduct random client satisfaction surveys
- Processing assistance equipment orders for clients
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory for multiple locations
- Create ID badges for multiple locations
- Financial transactions entry and analysis
- Monitor and address physical maintenance issues for a single location
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Mail processing
- Greeting and assisting office visitors
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Understanding of basic finance and accounting processes and concepts
- Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting software preferred
- Experience using intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel features
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner
- Ability to quickly learn new applications and systems
- Strong ability to operate with little or no supervision or direction
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Quickbooks
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree strongly preferred
Although this is a general entry-level position, we’re looking for a candidate willing to adapt as our operations grow and change. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and apply new skills in the areas of data analysis, programming, payroll processing, and/or finance.
