What are the responsibilities and job description for the DGR Production Aide Presort position at Home Depot?
KIND OF WORK:
The Production Aide Presort is responsible for the sorting, categorizing and quality control of contributed goods as assigned. The Production Aide Presort is responsible for meeting or exceeding production demands.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK:
- Sorting of goods into appropriate categories.
- Quality control of goods within assigned area.
- Meet or exceed production demands.
- Maintain housekeeping within assigned area.
- Recordkeeping as required.
- Attend meetings as assigned by Department Manager.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS OF WORK:
- Able to make quality decisions as per the criteria established within the training period.
- Able to physically bring clothing rack to designated area.
- Ability to work as part of a team to meet production demands.
- Physical capacity for at least "light work".* *(Light Work - capable of lifting 20 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 10 lbs. Capable of walking or standing the major part of the work day.)
