Sales/New Business Development Associate for a NEW SHOWROOM!

Home Designs is a rapidly growing kitchen cabinetry design & install business, and we complete thousands of projects per year! We are seeking a full-time Sales/New Business Development Associate to build a new sales territory in Northwest Indiana and the South Chicago Metro in tandem with our local GM. We are looking for ambitious B2B sales reps who excel at prospecting for new clients, and meeting clients’ goals across design and pricing. Uncapped earning potential with incentive compensation!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop new accounts through daily networking and prospecting with local builders, multi-family developers, restoration companies, interior designers, condo groups, etc.
  • Daily prospecting tasks include cold email outreach, cold calling, outreach via social media, office visits, and construction site visits. Our product category focus is in cabinetry and countertop design & installation.
  • Work with our team to develop bids, presentations, takeoffs, and change orders that are economically attractive to potential customers.
  • Travel and meet with clients in the field, as needed, to determine intended functionality, needs, and desired outcomes for their project.
  • Create sales forecasts and pipelines to share with your GM and senior management team.
  • In tandem with the GM and PM, act as the liaison between the company, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any installation issues onsite that may arise.
  • Work with multiple software tools across Microsoft Office, CRMs, and bidding/takeoff software.

Requirements:

  • 2-7 years of B2B account sales experience with a strong hunter mentality
  • Preferred: Experience in the building materials industry
  • Positive, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of blueprints and cabinet production is a big plus
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license

Schedule:

  • Full-time onsite at the showroom or in the field at client sites
  • Monday – Friday, some off-hours work as needed by clients
