RN Nurse Manager Schedule:

RN Nurse Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Nurses, CNAs, RCAS, and other team members with compassion and professionalism
- Provide leadership, training, and focus on team member satisfaction, safety, and development
- Ensure the highest quality of resident care, promptly addressing deficiencies and concerns
- Oversee daily operations of assigned Neighborhood, setting goals and collaborating with peers and other departments
- Supervise Nursing Department operations and act as House Manager on assigned shifts
- Support and guide nursing team members to promote residents' well-being
- Ensure sufficient, competent staffing for safe, person-centered care compliant with standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to maintain resident wellness and quality of life
- Adhere to nursing standards, including infection control, documentation, safety, and quality
- Manage and evaluate care plans with the Resident Information Management Specialist and physicians
- Participate in quality initiatives, addressing complaints and reports of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation
- Perform duties of direct report roles as needed to meet daily needs of residents and the facility
- Assist in meeting department financial objectives collaboratively with leadership to achieve fiscal targets
- Treat residents, families, team members, and visitors with respect, confidentiality, and inclusivity, ensuring they are free from abuse, neglect, and maltreatment, and report concerns immediately
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum 2 years of direct resident care as a registered nurse in a hospital or long-term care facility; supervisory/management experience preferred
- Unencumbered and current Kentucky Registered Nurse license required
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
- Knowledge of long-term care standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong clinical, supervisory, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with flexibility, integrity, and compassion, interacting effectively with diverse individuals in various states of crises
