The Senior Product Manager Role
As Homebase’s Senior Product Manager focused on our new Banking products, you will bring our Banking product to market and ensure its success and growth with our users. You’ll be trusted to enhance the employee experience through Banking which will improve user activation and retention as we scale beyond our one million employee users!
Your empathy and independence of thinking are key traits that will help you successfully launch this new employee-facing Banking product. You will work closely with and report directly to our Director of Product, Jae Leeholland.

At this time, we are remote-first and only hire candidates in our hubs: Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Toronto, ON, Canada, to foster collaborative local teams.
In your first 30 days...
You will meet our entire team and be trained on Homebase’s product suite and operating philosophies. We will educate you on how our products are currently used, you’ll learn our plans for the Banking product, and you’ll also start discussions with key stakeholders to align on our product roadmap.
By 60 days...
You’ll begin working with cross-functional technical teams to discuss and plan for product development to serve our employee users. You will already be up to speed on our product, customers, and goals, so you will start crafting development plans for the Banking product and associated features.
By 90 days and beyond...
You will become autonomous in your role and be actively contributing to the product roadmap through hands-on work and proper prioritization and delegation. Banking will start to take shape; Homebase will see increased employee activation and retention, and lesser user dependency on CS because of your contributions!

- Launch our Banking product and associated features
- Drive qual/quant research and analysis to formulate strategy over the year and beyond
- Research & identify market trends & opportunities
- Influence company-wide vision and position
- Develop a partner strategy to drive awareness and adoption in turn influencing our business model
- Influences company-wide processes and templates
- Foster collaboration and communication across the company
- Clearly define team members’ areas of ownership and achievable goals
- Effectively communicate product strategy and goals to your team
- Balance resource allocations and tooling investment to achieve desired company goals
- Cross-collaboration with other teams
- Hire and manage a diverse team to help achieve Homebase business objectives and foster career growth
- Create an inclusive work environment through transparent feedback loops
You’ll be successful here if you:
- Bring 5 years PM experience with 3 years in FinTech space and building mobile products
- Possess an ability to take a unique software product from 0 to 1 (for users in the millions)
- Are comfortable with running your own data analysis to pull insights
- Can collaborate smartly with BizOps Data Analysts to pull insights to inform product strategy
- Care about the livelihoods of small business customers
- Can collaborate cross-functionally with various technical and business stakeholders
- Are curious, always questioning the status quo
- Have high judgement and competency with data analysis
- Drive for results and remain outcome-focused
- Are always learning from customers, competitors, the market, your peers, and data
- Can effectively organize, plan and execute on your priorities
- Are collaborative and inclusive of diverse perspectives so long as they serve the customer
- Communicate clearly and concisely
