Job Description Summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Home Care Advocacy Network, a locally owned franchise offering in-home non-medical services to aging adults in Omaha and Lincoln. The Director of Operations is responsible for managing the daily operations of the two offices while playing an active role in leading a small team through servant leadership, critical thinking, and modeling a diplomatic approach to client and caregiver resolutions. The Director should be well connected in the medical and non-medical communities in the Omaha and Lincoln area as this will be a critical piece of the success and growth of the business.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees all daily operations and performance of the Omaha and Lincoln offices.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and accountability to administrative staff responsible for key functions of the business.
- Leads a small team of staff in a positive, motivating, and inspirational way to generate top performance and outstanding outcomes.
- Is an outstanding communicator.
- Displays a diplomatic approach to resolving client and caregiver issues.
- Utilizes a consultative sales process when working with referral providers and clients.
- Reports to the President for all key performance indicators including monthly and yearly service hours goals, employee retention, and consultation close rates.
- Is responsible for maintaining the approved budget for each office and its s net profits.
- Is instrumental in helping to develop key marketing strategies that position HCAN as a premier provider of non-medical services in the Omaha and Lincoln markets.
- Has a good understanding of Human Resource practices including an understanding of work comp, unemployment, and general labor laws specific to the home care industry.
- Builds a cohesive, service-oriented caregiving team through recruitment, training and development, engagement, and retention efforts.
- Consistently models behaviors that build a culture around the Home Care Advocacy Network’s core values.
- Develops and maintains sound administrative policies and management activities.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local state, and federal laws relating to the operations of the business.
- Responsible for team member hiring, termination, supervision, and performance evaluation.
