What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at HOMEGROWN HOSPITALITY?
We are currently looking for hardworking, knowledgeable and efficient prep cooks to add to our growing back of house restaurant team. This role is entry level and is responsible for the following:
· Prepping all food items to spec, labeling and dating all prepped and opened items
· Cleaning station, labeling prepped food and open food items, storing at proper temperatures per DHEC standards
· Assisting line cooks and dishwasher as necessary in daily operations
· Receiving deliveries and stocking coolers/freezers and line stations
· Teamwork with co-workers, adding to a culture of fun, and attendance of staff meetings
