- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Communicates clear and specific expectations. Ability to set direction and inspire.
- Review search packages for accuracy; perform any additional searches for all documents affecting property according to standard underwriting guidelines
- Request over limit approvals according to company and underwriter guidelines. • Approve surveys and subdivision plats and declarations to determine insurability, as needed
- Properly prices commitments, endorsements, policies and guarantees using appropriate schedule of fees and charges.
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries. Provide technical expertise to customer inquiries adhering to company and underwriting guidelines without assistance from manager.
- Manage a team of 9 and support 7 states.
- Extensive knowledge of standard operating procedures and compliance laws related to Title Insurance and the real estate settlement process.
- An extreme thoroughness and attention to detail: you dig in to get to the bottom of any questionable situations, mitigate risk, and ensure Title is issued only after any questions are resolved.

- At least 5 years of Title experience and some years of management/leadership experience
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent
