What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Representative position at Homeowners Property & Casualty Insurance Company?
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 12pm - 9pm
JOB SUMMARY
Provides exceptional service to clients and agents, generally via telephone, email, and fax communications. Processes transactions relative to requests by agents, accounting, potential clients, and other internal staff. Courteously and effectively answer up to 80 calls per day.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Handles up to 80 incoming phone calls per day
- Builds and maintains business relationships by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer satisfaction
- Processes transactions relative to client files
- Utilizes software to track, gather information, and answer inquiries
- Assist clients in making policy payments and billing questions
- Provides training and assistance to team members when requested by supervisor
- Remain up to date on procedures and insurance knowledge to assist callers
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Outstanding written and verbal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet
- Works well in a team environment
- Constant sitting, computer and telephone usage
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
- One or more years related customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience
