A Community Services Supervisor provides oversight for program supervisory needs and clinical supervision and provides primary support services for the clients. The Supervisor works primarily under the auspices of Comprehensive Community Services, focusing on clinical collaboration and supervision. The Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program and is focused on providing services that enhance the clients' overall health, safety, and welfare. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide direct transitional care services as needed.
- Observe all rules of confidentiality both within the programs and outside of work.
- Present oneself in a professional manner at all times, including appearance, language, and interactions with clients, co-workers, and the management team. Treat others with dignity and respect.
- Meet weekly with support staff to check on progress with clients. Provide direction and coaching to staff to ensure client needs are being met, and Individual Service and Recovery Plans are being followed. Monitor staff documentation and provide guidance and instruction as necessary.
- Provide clinical supervision by programmatic regulations (e.g., DHS 36 and DHS 63).
- Serves as a liaison and consultant to staff and other Human Services agencies.
- Receive voluntary and involuntary clients with mental health/behavioral problems and conduct assessments for treatment and intervention needs.
- Participate in client staffing, reviews, and multi-disciplinary team discussions to formulate diagnoses and develop Individual Service Plans (ISP) and Recovery Plans for clients that detail specific care and services that clients are to receive.
- Evaluate program effectiveness on a client-specific basis and implement changes to support desired outcomes.
- Implement new program policies and forms and changes to support services within the program in a manner that ensures consistent practices.
- Participate in evaluating program operation for compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes to ensure certification and funding.
- Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate transitional support staff to meet program and client care objectives.
- Provide regular feedback to staff regarding performance and provide coaching and corrective action as needed to the staff in areas of improvement.
- Seek regular feedback and maintain an open, collaborative communication style to encourage staff to express concerns and ideas for improvement.

- Conduct program-specific training for newly hired or transferred staff.
- Develop, coordinate, and present in-service training and staff development.
- Generate weekly work schedules that minimize overtime and maximize staff utilization while ensuring all shifts are covered.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of organizational policies, administrative procedures, confidentiality requirements, and Employee Handbook information to promote compliance in program operations.
- Implement new program policies and forms and changes to support services within the program in a manner that ensures consistent practices.
- Ensure proper documentation of all aspects of the program and provide regular updates to HIL and County management.
- Monitor the physical condition of the building, furnishings, equipment, and grounds - - reporting any damage, problems, hazards, or repair needs to Supervisor.
- Submit receipts for reimbursement according to Company policies.
- Report allegations of abuse, resident rights violations, conflict of interest, harassment, or fraud to the appropriate management level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, and ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work with a mental health certification (LPC or LCSW) is required. Dual certification in mental health and substance use is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience in a healthcare-related environment is preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human services organizations, community resources, and applicable codes, rules, statutes, and regulations.
- Maintain a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license; maintain insurance on a personal vehicle, and have a driving record that meets company insurance guidelines. Must be able to travel to different work locations, meetings, and training sessions.
- Demonstrate flexibility, autonomy, responsiveness, sound judgment, and a high level of initiative.
- Demonstrate effective communication through both written and spoken words. Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
- Maintain self-composure and self-control under stressful conditions – especially when being subjected to physical and verbally aggressive behavior.
