Position: Treasury Management Service Specialist

Position Summary:
The Treasury Management Service Specialist works closely with the SVP of Treasury Management and Commercial Deposits to support the growth of new client relationships and to perform reviews of current clients. The TM Service Specialists is also responsible for delivering a smooth client transition into the bank. Working under the direction of the SVP Treasury Management and Commercial Deposit, the TM Service Specialist takes ownership of the on-boarding process of clients including opening new accounts, implementing new products and services, training clients on the effective use of services and provides ongoing support with exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
The TM Service Specialist works closely with internal teams to open new business and commercial checking, money market and time deposit products. Guides the team on the appropriate account type for their specific client based on established product guidelines. Works directly with business banking clients to deepen existing relationships by providing a consultative, needs-based approach to product penetration.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Implementation:
1. Partners with Sales Team to gather information in an organized matter to ensure a smooth transition for new clients. Works directly with customers to open accounts, obtain signatures for treasury management services agreements and to establish a comfortable transition plan and timeline based on client needs.
2. Implements products and trains clients on the effective use of our specialized products. Follows up with clients on an on-going basis to ensure full utilization and understanding of product features and benefits.
3. Administers user rights, privileges, and security authorizations for external, high profitability clients.
4. Works with Operations to ensure products are set up completely and accurately to meet client expectations and timelines. Ensures pricing is effectively loaded and charged as planned.
5. Ensures client service deliverables are achieved and holds partners accountable by managing issues, escalations, and error resolution.
6. Sets up invoicing/billing detail for Treasury Management Services.
7. Works with Operations and Relationship teams to ensure all limits related to ACH exposure and RDC are monitored and reviewed based on credit risk rating of clients per policy guidelines.
Customer Service:
1. Provides exceptional ongoing customer support and care with great attention to detail. Assist clients as needed for all treasury management products and services.
2. Supports internal clients for customer resolution in all matters related to treasury management to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
3. Assists in the development of presentations and pricing scenarios under the direction of the SVP TM.
4. Participates in pipeline reviews with all Sales teams.
5. May participate in client meeting for more complex client needs.
6. Gathers information for client reviews.
7. Incumbent assists smaller, less complex business clients with product solutions by actively reaching out to this segment of the Bank’s portfolio to round out client relationships.
8. Attends seminars, tradeshows, and conferences to maintain in-depth product knowledge.
9. Trains internal clients on products and services to build a wider base of product knowledge and expertise within the bank.
Team Dynamics:
1. Assists with management of opportunity tracking in pipelines. Helps to ensure accuracy of deals in pipeline and closed sale reporting.
2. Provides back-up to TM Sales and Operations.
3. Shares best practices and client feedback with teams.
4. Willingness to take ownership and accountability for department tasks.
5. Document, communicate status and help escalate issues internally.
6. Coordinates the internal continual review (approvals) for ACH and RDC exposures to reduce risk to the bank as well as compliance with rules of audit.
7. Comply with all applicable federal and state banking and industry related laws and regulations.
8. Maintains diligent awareness of risks – including ACH rules, payments risk, UCC laws and FFIEC guidance as well as user authentication best practices for online banking services.
9. Maintain comprehensive and up to date knowledge of banking regulations related to assigned job function. Complete and/or ensure all audit and security policies and procedures are followed in accordance with bank policies and Federal Regulation. Complete required compliance and job specific training. Familiarity and adherence of all Bank Secrecy Act requirements including the ability to identify and properly report fraudulent and suspicious loan activity.
10. Participates in projects and product reviews to improve the customer experience and bottom-line results.
11. Performs other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2. 2-4 years of professional experience in a bank Client Service, Sales Operations, Portfolio Management or implementation function or related industry.
3. Prior experience implementing treasury management systems and solutions of moderate complexity.
4. Demonstrated technology skills with online banking/payments applications.
5. Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
6. Project management skills as necessary to manage multiple projects in varying stages.
7. Demonstrated problem solving ability through interaction with clients and business partners.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
10. Assist Sales Managers by performing research on prospects in preparation for face-to-face meetings.
11. Review existing business banking portfolio to identify new opportunities and promotes other bank products and services needed by customers.
12. Ability to travel to client’s organization when required.
Work Relationship and Scope:
Reports directly to the SVP Treasury Management. Works closely with employees and customers. Has regular access to highly confidential customer and employee information.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed largely within the Bank. Work hours are generally during normal business hours but with both scheduled and unscheduled evening and weekend work as needed. Must be able to bend, twist, turn and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
