In an 8 hour day the employee lifts/carries 50 lbs frequently.

In an 8 hour day the employee drives a car/truck 6 hours.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Is responsible for delivery of all products and equipment. Deliveries are to be made in a timely manner. Is responsible for assigned evening and weekend on call duty according to schedules. Expectations: Provide high level of customer service at all times.
- Is responsible for instructing patients on use and care of equipment. Is responsible for some equipment repairs and assembly. Expectations: Encourages customers to repeat back/demonstrate to ensure understanding.
- Is responsible for seeing that all paperwork relevant to the position is returned thoroughly completed without errors. Expectations: Paperwork should be returned the same day to the store. Billing can then process immediately.
- Is responsible for maintaining the physical and mechanical condition of his/her assigned company vehicle. Expectations: Trucks/vans are able to be cleaned and serviced regularly. Completes daily safety checklist.
- Consults with supervisor when unusual or urgent situations occur. Expectations: Does not make impulsive decisions. Decisions are always based on policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates proper handwashing procedures. Cleans equipment using required techniques. Expectations: Complies with JCAHO standards and emergency procedures. Practices safe driving techniques.
- Is reliable and demonstrates initiative. Expectations: Arrives promptly, departs promptly. Responds to on calls promptly for emergency needs. When requested, is willing to work additional hours. Recognizes the needs for and performs additional, unassigned tasks.
