Current Openings:
We are seeking a compassionate caregiver, CNA, CHHA, or PCA who will take pride in providing quality care to our clients, as well as finding enrichment in bonding with them. Each client is unique and this position includes interacting with client(s) in their home(s) or another setting in a variety of ways.
- We currently are seeking several caregivers to work in and near Westfield, MA with clients who require morning and early afternoon care. Additionally hours are available with other clients in our service area of Hampden and Hampshire Counties, and we have a mix of daytime and evening hours available.
- Our in-home caregiver positions involve assisting primarily elders but also clients of all ages. These positions offer flexibility in terms of shift length, time of day, and days of the week and are open to both certified and uncertified caregivers.
Job duties may include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living including transfers and ambulation, hygiene, and meal-time needs
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Keeping clients engaged with the outside world by assisting them with phone calls, providing occasional transportation, and accompanying to appointments, errands, and recreational activities
- Providing reminders for medication, physical therapy exercises, and other tasks as indicated on their plan of care
- Checking vitals, recording daily activities, monitoring health, and reporting changes in their health status in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:
- We have positions available for certified and uncertified caregivers. A Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), or PCA certificate is required to work with some but not all clients.
- Ability to assist clients with care duties as detailed under "Job Duties" safely, skillfully, and compassionately.
- Ability to report to your shifts reliably, consistently, and punctually, and to remain at the client's home or school until relieved.
- Ability to work well with others and independently. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are important.
- Valid Driver's License or Adult Permit and a reliable, insured vehicle is highly preferred. Caregivers who do not drive but have two forms of reliable transportation are also encouraged to apply.
- All caregivers must be willing to follow Universal Precautions & COVID-19 protocols including wearing a mask for the duration of their shifts. Vaccinations and boosters are helpful and will allow you to be matched with more clients.
- Satisfactory results of a criminal background check and reference check
