THE POSITION
ConverDyn is seeking a Commercial Manager, who possesses the business acumen to deliver our marketing and sales objectives for uranium hexafluoride conversion services to global nuclear power utilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Detailed understanding of the nuclear fuel cycle, regulatory environment and how the market operates, identifies, and tracks market developments in order to anticipate future developments and translate them into successful marketing strategies.
- Own/Lead the Strategy Planning process (STRAP) for the region and contribute to the company’s strategic plan.
- Develop and manage customer relationships to identify and promote business opportunities.
- Accurately research and analyze markets and provide business intelligence to support effective decision making.
- Develop a regional customer capture plan that identifies sales opportunities and all of the actions necessary to contribute to a successful bid, including appropriate segmentation and tailored value propositions.
- Establish negotiations strategies for selected opportunities and lead negotiations to successful conclusion.
- Solid working knowledge of contract law and prepares contracts with legal support.
- Customer focused actively seeks to deliver exceptional service to customers
- Periodically address audiences at industry conferences and events and trade organization gatherings.
- Employee can be located remotely, but must be within 45 minutes from a major airport.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in an analytical discipline (e.g. economics, math, engineering, etc. or business)
- 10 years of sales experience
- Ability to travel 30% of the time both domestically & internationally
PREFERRED
- Extensive experience in selling front end nuclear fuel services or components
- Demonstration of analytical thinking and data driven decision making
- Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and can balance multiple assignments
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- The candidate should have advanced level command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint desktop tools.

- Incentive Eligible
- Salary Range: $190,000 - $220,000
