Lead and develop a talented engineering team of senior professionals and managers responsible for the development of Honeywell FIRE products. You will leverage your technical experience and skills to guide your team in the investigation and solution of challenging technical problems. You will use your leadership skills to motivate teams that are designing new or modifying existing products, parts and processes. By collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams, you will balance team workload and drive exceptional team performance with high impact for the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Executes global FIRE product strategy and roadmap.
· Identifies, signs up, and manages new partners, managing negotiation of terms and conditions
· Provides input to business development roadmap and M&A targets
· Be part of HON Fire panel Agile release train ceremonies, coordinating with other HON/3rd party teams
· Develop hardware design for panels, loop cards, etc with adherence to cybersecurity
· Effort estimation and planning, technically manage external consultants and suppliers
· Maintain know how on applicable industrial FIRE standards
· Interact with marketing to define and clarify System requirements
· Generate innovative Ideas, Visit customers as part of OVOC (observational Voice of Customer) activities
· Investigate complex customer issues of required
· Global travel 20%
