Honkamp Payroll LLC is a growing Payroll and Human Capital Management firm located in Dubuque and North Liberty, IA. We are seeking a human resources assistant to provide support to the areas of human resources and payroll. This position is vital to the continued growth of the company to ensure high quality customer service.

We're interested in organized individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service and support in the areas of human resources, employee benefits administration, and payroll. Must be extremely detail orientated, familiar with benefit administration and payroll administration, comfortable using a variety of computer systems, proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service by building strong relationships with multiple clients
- Coordinates with client and employees for onboarding, employee changes, and separations
- Supports HR Administrators and Payroll team as needed
- Accurately processes paperwork received from clients following Company procedures
- Reconciles and Audits client benefits invoices quarterly
- Schedules meetings as requested by HR Administrators or Payroll team
- Supports clients with compliance efforts
- Performs customer service functions by answering client or employee requests and questions
- Accurately completes data entry on client spreadsheets or other systems, maintains I-9 and employee records, process payroll and employee benefit changes for clients
- Files or scans documents and performs other clerical functions

Requires
- Requires a basic knowledge of Human Resources
- BBA in Human Resources or equivalent experience
