HonorBridge is the largest Organ Procurement Organization in North Carolina. We partner with hospitals, transplant centers and other partners to coordinate the organ and tissue donation process. Job Summary:
The Recruiter will partner with the Human Resources team to meet the evolving needs of Honorbridge recruiting needs and deliver top talent into the organization. The Recruiter manages the full cycle recruitment for nonexempt and exempt positions. The position will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships. The Recruiter will act as a true contributor to the growth of Honorbridge and deliver a rock star candidate experience to applicants.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contributes to HonorBridge’s Mission by being devoted to building connections that save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation.
- Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, networking, and online tools
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and career sites.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools.
- Act as a point of contact and provide realistic and thorough job overviews, highlighting the benefits of a career at Honorbridge.
- Develop pipeline of talent, specifically for frequently filled positions as well as hard to fill locations.
- Provide feedback to hiring managers regarding recruitment and selection processes as well as interviewing.
- Facilitate the selection of candidates in alignment with HonorBridge guidelines and internal processes.
- Schedule candidate interviews.
- Extend, negotiate, and close offers.
- Work with hiring managers, HR team members and support staff to coordinate and schedule interviews.
- Deliver prompt follow up and feedback to candidates in the interview process.
- Manage requisitions through ATS to ensure that hiring activity is documented according to requirements.
- Provide support on recruiting related initiatives or programs.
- Create and post job descriptions and announcements.
- Initiate screenings (background, drug, employment, etc.) based on internal and/or client hiring requirements and conduct employee eligibility verifications
- Track, reconcile, and report on open and unopened positions.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2 years’ experience conducting full life-cycle recruiting required.
- PHR, SPHR, or HRCI certifications preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Effective collaborator, influencer, and builder of strong partnerships at all levels.
- Expert in balancing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and work streams simultaneously.
- Familiar with pertinent regulations and/or employment government laws.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office 365, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarly using web technologies and computer systems to support Talent Selection including, but not limited to job boards, applicant tracking system, social and digital media, and internet sourcing methods
