Location: Garden City, NY | 11530
Duration: 5 Months
Shift: 1st Shift: 7a – 3:30p & 2nd Shift: 3p – 11:30pm

Job Description:
Position Summary:
Entry-level production positions for various departments. On-the-job training for all positions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Metal forming
- Metal cleaning
- Product assembly
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate, in English effectively both in written and verbal form
- Must have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as required
- Ability to lift at 40lbs and have ability to constantly be standing for at least 6-8 hours during the day
- Ability to read blueprints a plus
- Ability to use basic hand tools a plus
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and can work in a face paced environment
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High school diploma or GED required
- Previous employment in a production, warehouse, factory a plus
This is a union position and after 30 days the incumbent will be expected to join the union.

Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Resident status is required.
