Job Description
Position Title: Arts Administrator
Work Location: Oahu, HI
Job Summary
KaiHonua, LLC is seeking an Arts Administrator to join our rapidly growing team. The candidate will work within a cohesive team that supports entertainment venues and company sponsored events. The Arts administrator takes care of the business operations of the Mo'olelo Studios' organization. This includes managing and promoting the activities of the organization including performing arts classes as well as interacting with artists, performers, supporters and organizational staff of productions and developing promotional material for television, newspaper, radio, direct (e)mailers and social media.
Responsibilities (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
- Developing budgets, planning events and performances
- Negotiating contracts and developing community interest in the organization
- Directs the hiring and training of personnel and devises their schedules and task assignments
- Must organize fundraising events, enlisting financial supporters and conducting grant research, applying for grants and disbursing acquired funding.

- Bachelors' degree is required
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
- Must have valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Occasional use of company vehicle while on work site
