Oiler

We are seeking an Oiler for our lumber mill located in Silver Creek, MS. Your main responsibility will be oiling and greasing gearboxes and other equipment around the mill to manufacture specifications and at specific time intervals. This is a night shift position. When available, you will also work alongside experienced Industrial Mechanics helping them repair and maintain a variety of equipment throughout the mill.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with a proven mechanical ability, but maybe not much work experience, to gain valuable "real world" skills and experience.

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have proven mechanical ability (i.e., repairing farm equipment, cars, small motor equipment, production equipment, etc.).
• Knowledge of and able to use/identify basic tools such as wrenches, bolts, nuts, and other fasteners.
• Able to work independently and complete jobs tasks fully and on time.
• Have a stable work history.
• Not be afraid of hard work - you will be working in a non-climate-controlled environment where you will get dirty. You will be walking up/downstairs, climbing into equipment, and working in areas that require fall protection.
• Previous experience working in a production environment is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Work schedule is typically Monday – Friday, 7pm to 4am. 
• Starting pay is $18.10 per hour.
