Job Summary:
Analyzes competitive pricing of products or proposed cost reductions. Assesses market trends and competitor data to forecast pricing models. Provides insights on the impact of pricing changes on growth rates and profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with cross functional teams to define floor, target and ceiling pricing for project job components.
- Scope the issue then define, build and implement solution to measure price effectively.
- Identify, scope and execute strategic price process improvement projects.
- Proactively communicate metrics and project objectives, status, barriers and results to all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate pricing and promotional discrepancy reconciliation in conjunction with various internal divisions and external trade partners.
- Manage pricing and profitability for specific business channels, including new volume opportunity financial forecasting and market trend analysis.
- Provide ongoing analysis of margin erosion to meet company margin objectives.
- Develops, maintains and publishes sales/pricing reports to internal/external customers.
- Calculate and input monthly pricing based on announced market component costs
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 1-5 years of experience within Pricing, Finance or Accounting.
- Experience completing Analysis with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- SAP Experience Preferred
