Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the operation and supervision of all warehouse activities. This individual will provide leadership to ensure vendor, customer and team member satisfaction by providing direction and support necessary to achieve corporate goals in the warehouse on their assigned shift. The Warehouse Lead will assist in the training, development and coaching of employee’s to meet goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership necessary for achieving plant and corporate goals in the area of safety, Quality, Employee Relations, Performance and Cost for their assigned shift.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement in all areas
• Support employees by coaching, mentoring, and resolving mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity, job capabilities, and equipment capabilities.
• Responsible for the training and development of employees and ensuring that they comply with all SOP’s on their assigned shift.
• Responsible for the enforcement of GMP’s and ensures strict adherence to Corporate and/or Plant Policies, rules, and regulations on their assigned shift and administers coaching and corrective action as necessary.
• Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner on their assigned shift.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements concerning dairy processing, safety, and working conditions on their assigned shift.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Ensure effective communication between shifts and other departments.
• Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Education and Experience:
• GED or High School Diploma with at least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience with increased responsibilities
• Prior Warehousing experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)

• Team oriented individual with the ability to collaborate and operate in a team environment.
