Microsoft Dynamics F & O Analyst
Hooker Furnishings Information Services is seeking a full-time Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations Business Systems Analyst to work out of our Sunset West location in Vista, CA. Founded in 2004, Sunset West is committed to bringing exceptional furnishings to the outdoor contemporary market with comfort, style, and quality in mind. Hooker Furnishings Corporation, in its 100th year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods, leather furniture, fabric-upholstered furniture and outdoor furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets.
The successful candidate will perform diversified business system analysis and provide support to D365 Finance and Operations users across our manufacturing and distribution business. This support will include training, troubleshooting, report design and report development, and software development testing and data analysis.
Main Responsibilities
- Understand, in depth, the business processes supported by the system.
- Sustain production environments relating to online services. This will include development, testing, and production systems.
- Ensure applications are maintained in a manner that supports delivery of services to multiple platforms, resilience, and performance.
- Maintain continuity of the business processes supported by one or many applications/services.
- Promote continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms. Tracking progress and escalating as appropriate unless resolution reached
- Ensure that application and service processes and outputs are error free and complete.
- Put appropriate contingency procedures in place for applications and make sure they are regularly tested.
- Contribute to process development and best practice. Look at new ways to improve resilience, performance levels and supportability.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Undertake advanced administration tasks as required e.g. to support problem resolution.
- Support the development teams and the group in deploying applications and solving problems.
- Work in conjunction with technical team members in deriving tailored D365 workspaces in support of the business requirements.
- Train key users in various aspects of D365 to ensure a successful transition into operational status including basic navigation and master data management.
- Determine practical business solutions using industry best practices.
- Meet with business process leaders to determine the necessary business requirements.
- Gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and turn business requirements into functional specifications.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with multiple database environments.
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams with a focus on delivery in a rapidly changing environment.
- Demonstrated excellent customer engagement.
Experience and skills preferred:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in business application analysis, preferably with knowledge of manufacturing and ERP.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of business processes and application analysis, preferably including knowledge of manufacturing and ERP.
- Microsoft Office, SSRS, Power BI, D365 Finance and Operations

This is a full-time hybrid role (on-site work required 2-3 days a week at Vista location)
Salary: The pay range for this position is $90,000-$130,000 annually.
