Job Summary
A local well-established IT Company is expanding and has an immediate opening for an experienced IT Specialist to help support their client base. Great opportunity for someone who is seeking a rewarding and challenging position that requires great people and technical skills.
Responsible for providing technical remote support to clients. Developing relationships with existing and new clients. Design technical solutions for clients. Ensure that systems are configured correctly and are running efficiently. Management and monitoring of client networks. Must possess superior problem-solving skills, extensive technical knowledge, strong communication skills, good task management, and critical thinking skills.
Job Duties:
- Installation of new PCs
- Upgrade and repair of PCs
- Identifying and troubleshooting problems
- Maintaining hardware and software
- Resolving network and connectivity issues
- Installing software applications
- Handling security updates
- Providing technical support
- Managing PC/workstations
- Provide excellent Help Desk service to our clients
- Ability to identify and revolve IT problems quickly
- Ability to work with a team and motivate team members
Job Requirements:
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems
- High degree of knowledge of all kinds of PC repairs
- Must have basic understanding of routers, switches, firewalls and many other network devices
- Must have basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs
- Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Active listening skills
- Knowledge of data storage and data recovery
- Service-oriented
- Superior working knowledge of computer systems
- Time and task management
- Good communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of computer software
- A and/or Network are desirable
Salary DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
