Physical Therapist (PT)
Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Physical Therapist will provide and oversee physical therapy treatments to assist clients to attain, improve, or maintain their maximum level of functional movement. This position will provide school contract services in the Edwardsville, IL area.
Physical Therapist Job Duties:
- Assess individuals’ performance and implement treatment based on established goals.
- Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans, as needed.
- Provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers.
- Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensure as a board-certified physical therapist.
- Must pass the national physical therapy exam.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and software applications.
