Occupational Therapist (OT)
Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Occupational Therapist will provide and oversee occupational therapy treatments to improve fine motor skills, oral motor skills, cognitive perceptual skills, visual-motor coordination, visual-spatial processing, and daily self-care tasks. This position will provide school contract services in Edwardsville, IL.
Occupational Therapist Job Duties:
- Assess individuals’ performance and implement occupational therapy treatment based on established goals.
- Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans, as needed.
- Provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers.
- Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an approved school of occupational therapy.
- Licensure as a registered Occupational Therapist.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and software applications.
